Zachary Carey — Owner / Inspector, Former Law Enforcement Officer
Zachary Carey is the owner and lead inspector at Central Missouri Inspection Services. He trained under founder Richard Ives for years while earning certifications through the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI), State of Missouri License for Inspecting Termites & WDO, & State of Missouri License to inspect Sewer Systems/Septic & Lagoon. Zachary has completed over 5000 home inspections and continually earns new certifications, adopts new techniques and tools to ensure every inspection is comprehensive, clear and easy to understand for clients.
Richard Ives — Founder / Senior Inspector, Former Jefferson City Firefighter
Richard Ives founded Central Missouri Inspection Services and brings decades of practical experience to the team. A former Jefferson City firefighter with 24 years of service—18 of which were spent as an arson investigator, new business inspector, and high-ordinance inspector—Richard has performed more than 22,000 inspections. His depth of knowledge and dedication help clients make confident, informed decisions when buying or selling a home.
